What gets me is the different levels of abuse and not caring, from your mother, her partner and also Oma. They all know it's not right, they have to but still there is no compassion, no love. How did that not show up in their working worlds, I wonder about. It makes one look past the outer shell people show us.

So, from jail to prison is a metaphor. When Oma said it was time you went back to where you came from that was not what you or your sister wanted to hear. The writing is on the wall, I can hear you say but for now, I haven't a clue as to what will take place or rather what has taken place in your head when you dread going back to your parents.

Some parties are still alive, some are not.

You jump at the slightest noise suggesting your nervous system on high alert and everything that comes out of Oma's mouth is interpreted as harmful. You're right of course and your body regurgitates her chicken as evidence of the fact you want nothing inside you, associated with her. Something that could have been a treat is laced with toxic suspicion. There are some small edits: "The bathroom went down to my room sat down on the bed..?"; "The water saying do you hear me." What lies in store now, Lea? Another great write as your story moves with pace. Well done! Debbie
