I was born in San Antonio, Texas, and am a southern girl through and through. I grew up listening to my father, Paul Shannon, tell stories to me and my sister. He inspired in me a love for storytelling and writing. I am a published author of 6 Science Fiction/Fantasy novels, but am always trying to hone my skills.

I live on a farm and love animals and gardening. I have a black belt in Taekwondo. I was a High School Chemistry teacher, a District Science Instructional Coach, Retired, then back to work as a high school science teacher (the only one in my district).
