davisr (Rhonda): Okay, I need some more help: I keep getting remarks about the quotation marks. I've researched it, and I'm doing what is required, but people say they are distracted by all the marks. Suggestions???
    nor84: I sent you a PM. Yes, you do have a problem in that both double quotes and single quotes are being used ("') next to one another, as shown, and double quotes seem to be used for narrative passages, not just for dialogue. -

    GoodHearted Woman: Check out Cormac McCarthy--he writes his whole books without a single quotation mark, and I didn't have any trouble knowing who was talking. GoodHearted Woman -

    I am Cat: I'd like to let the fans of Rhonda (davisr) know that she's been in an accident on the farm. She will eventually be ok, but it involved (as often happens in Texas) a mama cow, a calf, a large wooden slat of wood, metal bars, human flesh and bone, and a margin of error.

    As can often happen in the world of farms... The cow won, and Rhonda's jaw and head LOST. :(
    She has a severe concussion, along with a broken jaw (in two places) and will be off ALL electronics, including computers, TV, phones, email... everything for an entire week.
    I wanted to check her PM box and send out announcements, but it has come to my attention that in so doing, I would be unable to review her work from my own computer...
    and so, I'd posting in several places so that her fans will know that she is not ignoring them, she is seriously injured.

    Please show support and continue to review her work, we all need to stick together at times like this.
    She is a wonderful writer, and an amazing human being. IF you'd like to leave her a message, you may do so...
