Lots of action in this chapter as you marry pain, magic, suffering and mystery.
This is probably the most intense chapter I've read. You were very focused on the scene at hand, and it was amazing. I sense a bom on this chapter, my friend.
Great job,
Rhonda

Thank you, Rhonda. I'm so happy you read this. It was active and not an easy thing to write. The next chapter will be even harder ... which is why I've been procrastinating on it. I appreciate your visit and hope you come back.

Excellent post.
You do such a great job of drawing a scene out, keeping up the suspense as to what will happen. Looks like the trilogy is coming to a close.

Bless you, Karlene. Dang, this is some good stuff you're saying. Thank you, dear. Yes, it's coming to a close. One more chapter, I think, and the denouement.

A really great episode Jay, super, imaginative episode. There is magic flowing around the place. The poor guards with the treat of death resting on them if they fail, do just that, and Axtilla gets a gurnsey, but at the end, Reuther is paying the price for using magic wrongly, the projected imagery is quite marvellous, most enjoyable my friend, first class, well done. Blessings, Roy

Roy, bless you, my friend. I'm so pleased you read and enjoyed this. The novel's coming to an end. Have you been considering what you're going to do with the half-hour you'll save? Thanks so much for being here for me.

Hi Jay,
great continuation of the story here. Wind / spirit to the rescue. Rhuether's true nature coming back to the fore and a crossbow shooting by a man named Justiz (justice)
"Yes, Almighty master." - Master?
How many arrows does it take to pin him to the wall?" - need opening speech marks here.
Excellent descriptions of the wheeling man and the magical bouts, particularly inside the coils of the snake.
The pink blossoms' name. Let me help you. They are called 'Clarna's Grief'. - I think this should be in italics for Kyre's dialogue?
All the best

Hi, Jay
= Whoa! You're leading up to a grand finale.
= Brother pitted against brother at it's best, for sure.
= Looking forward to how this will wind up. Great chapter.

Thanks, Jax. Yep, getting to the end. I must say I will breathe a sigh of relief ... before the editing begins.

Lots of action in this chapter, Jay, and well written, like watching it on FX
or SciFi channel. Got to reading and forgot to scan for nits. Excellent.

Thanks so much for the six stars, Debbie. I'm more happy that you're enjoying the ride. It's been a long one, but coming to a close soon.

Well, that's a fine place to leave us. Sword skittering, guard twirling, main char getting squished...to be continued!
You, my friend, are the exception to my rule. I don't like fantasy. But I like your writing. Maybe it's because you write intelligently.
Picked out a few little things, though:
Yes, Almighty master. ; uppercase M
And how eager he is, right Pondria? : right, Pondria?
Nice work. Looking forward to the next.

No one knows that spirits are close at hand until death is the final outcome. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read.
