Sami always seems to lead Noah a merry dance, and on his mettle, although she managed to paint herself into a corner in the attic, they still manage to get her out, Sarah knew that Noah slept in her room, but she OK with that, well done, blessings Roy

Your writing is so easy to read that it never seems long. Sami really gets bored, and it isn't surprising she disappeared into the attic. What are they going to do to keep her busy? One sentence needs attention: Thank (you) for caring.

I was scared that someone got in and was able to whisk Sami away! But apparently, she was going a little stir crazy and as curious as a little kid. I'm glad to see that Sami and Noah seem to understand each other so much more now.

A fine chapter, Barbara. I do wonder if, when this is over and they are together, how Sami will feel if Noah doesn't change and be more open about his feelings. He won't be able to change a habit developed over many years. Well written.

I looked pretty closely and only found one error. That is quite an accomplishment right there
The story is also interesting with Noah, falling in love with Sami, the plot thickens
It's good that Bob and Sarah are approving of their relationship
My favorite character in this might be Jasper, however, and this may be something you want to do in future chapters. His character has not been developed. Or, Jasper, could you rescue her from a killer?
I'm just kidding about him being my favorite character. My favorite character is Noah
I know there's probably a lot more to go in this book because there are a lot of things that are undecided. I wonder if Matteo's going to come back into the picture and help save her. I wonder if Noah and Sami will get married at the end
Those are all of the things I'm thinking about. And I will see the next chapter because I get notified every time you post.

This is an excellent read even for someone jumping in at chapter 15. L O L you clearly have the ability to keep dialogue moving with additional information that keeps the reader from getting stuck. You've given us several tensions and several solutions. I looked for mistakes, and I didn't see any. FYI no one has ever paid me to edit anything though. :-)

Sami always manages to disrupt things. Whether she means to or not, she draws attention the way my cats do. She seems to needy, I'll have to be convinced she belongs with Noah. He's trying to be a professional, but she's making it hard for him. Her wanting him to run with her is another way of seeking attention. Enough of my analysis. You're doing a great job of characterization, and the story is developing just fine. This is kind of a lull before you get to more developments with the traffickers. Tell Sami I told her to stay out of the attic! I'm wondering about the word self-conscience. judi

I like that Sarah was upfront with Noah about hearing him in Sami's room, but also kind of gave her blessing. This was a big step for Noah and Sami as they both acknowledged their budding relationship. Very enjoyable. Gretchen
