teols2016: Sorry my appearances on this fine site have been sparse lately. I've been busy with a new job, returning to school, getting the flu, and dealing with a concrete-like case of writer's block. I'm back (hopefully) and a new installment for "Changing on the Fly" will go up momentarily. Thanks for the continuing support. |

teols2016: Well, all of "2ndd Time Around" is up and "Changing on the Fly" is going up...well, the chapters I've finished, at least. I am currently running 2nd Time Around through editing software to catch what I'm missing. As I feed the chapters through, I'll re-post them. If anynne notices anything or has an opinion, I'd be grateful to hear it. I'll re-promote chapters as I go to make it worth your while. The edited prologue should be up and promoted in the next ten minutes. |

teols2016: I saw an interview on CNN the other day with the creator/lead writer of Downton Abbey, Lord something-or-other. I've never seen an episode of the show (probably evident of my likely misspelling of the name) but something he said stuck with me. Writing for a TV show is very different than writing a script for a play or film because, as more seasons come along, the characters are more developed, in part due to the actors playing them, and you have to keep these developments in mind as you progress. In my opinion, writing a novel is similar as the characters of the book develop through the pages and you'll soon find yourself needing to consider your character's developments to determine the choices they would make. |

teols2016: I've been writing as long as I can remember. I like to take real-life situations and work with them. How would something done decades ago be done differently in modern times? Can humanity be found in the darkest and bleakest places? Can a person rise to face down a life-changing obstacles? These and more are questions I aim to answer in my work. |

The questions you have asked, have been answered many times by some of the excellent writers here...you will begin to notice that, as you read and review the work of others..I wish you Well... - | ||
