Suzarb: I find my writing is changing, compromising maybe even, now that I have this audience. I don't know how to feel about this... |

Suzarb: Yesterday I met with a local published poet, Terry Phelan, whose work is incredible! She is generous, not only in her writing, but in her spirit, for taking the time out of her busy schedule to meet with me and talk about her work/books, publishing, and how she got started. Check her out at www.terryphelan.com. Her latest book, Fires in Sonoma, is a must read! |

Suzarb: It is a lovely morning in California, though my house is wrecked from lack of attention all weekend. It seems all I want to do is write or read, and the juices are flowing. I'm so inspired by the writings on Fanstory. There is some really great stuff here. Ok... off to do a bit of spit 'n shine! Blessings all.... |

Suzarb: I am completely over the moon! My first contest entry and my first win! Thanks to my hubby who doesn't know a sonnet from a bonnet for encouraging me to write write write, and for calming my fears about posting... And I am overwhelmed with shock at the kind things everyone said about my poem... humbled to my knees, rather. Such a fine day! |
