I gave this one six stars because of the multiple levels of meaning in your writing, I like where you said main squeeze. And as a heart it not only represents love but it seems to me like you could also be talking about the star player being the heart in our body! Enjoyable reading wonderful style and perfect for the occasion.
Blessings,

That heart certainly is the main player in the game of life. It is a good team player. It works so well with all of the other organs in the body. And like you say, it does not like emotional change. Love and harsh words affect its rhythm.
You got it right. I think that you did a fine job with your club entry.

I wonder just how many physical illnesses are caused by emotional distresses. I lot I would imagine. I had fun writing this with a different theme. Thanks for your positive review

Your title is very captivating, "Star Player!" I love it. What a great response for your Pix This Challenge on the heart. Your line "pumps energy into the game" jumped out at me, as did, "embellished by positive acts." Well-written!

-The image is a good one.
-I like your idea of the
star player being the heart,
and comparing it to a sport:
"This is the star player in the game of life"
"Pushes the players on team red"
-The inclusion of the coaches is good,
and I like the conclusion.
-Very well done, Trisha, thanks
for sharing.

I so agree with your words Trisha and this is an ideal poem for Vanlentine's day, the heart is the key player in all our pursuits! Without heart and love we are nothing. We many associated emotions but it boils down to having a good heart, a poignant write, love Dolly x

I appreciate your kind review.. I think in western medicine there is divide, whereas complimentary eastern follows the whole body-mind connection
