I truly love the quote too from Eleanor Roosevelt. The Story is really awesome about emotions that every writer faces and the doubt that you won't be good enough. Keep up the excellent work Carol!

How many of us as writers have doubted our ability to write a meaningful story. I was never a creative writer before coming to FanStory. I wrote technical stuff for the government. I've always had a vivid imagination, and FanStory seemed to be the place for me, even though I doubt myself.

I appreciate this inspirational story of hope, courage and possibilities.

I like it a lot. It could have been me. I left it very late to start, and I hope I haven't finished. Well done on your many imaginative writings of all kinds. My foster son is back in hospital, surgery tomorrow, so I am not on FS much at present.

Oh, no Wendy. Are talking about Jonathan? I hope it's not serious. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your son. Take care and I hope all will soon be well.

Thanks Carol. He has a lung abscess, pneumonia, a UTI. Tomorrow he’ll have surgery for the abscess and to drain his lung. Thanks for your care.

She didn't have much faith in herself, but she did what she had wanted to do for a very long time. Sometimes it just takes that first step and you have shown how it is done.

I'm always out of star on Sunday or early Monday. But this week I've hung on to my last one in hopes of something maybe a little different might come along. And tag you're it. Thanks for sharing.

You know, your self perception is amazing Carol, you know I've missed the little boy I once was, the purity, the innocence of that little boy I've missed for so long, what changed him? What caused him to think they way he does, but he still dwells in me, the dreamer, the idealist, just hidden under blanket of doubt, well done, blessings Roy

Wow, Carol, what a fun chapter. I'm not sure if you can call it personification, but I'll go with that. It was clever and engaging. No ghosts, but who needs them anyway? Eeeek, sorry Eleanor!!!

Love and hugs,
Rhonda

This is a lovely chapter for the Emotional Guest List book. Nice quotation from Eleanor Roosevelt to begin the story. Hope and Courage go together well, and they seem to create possibilities. Enjoy your weekend. Carol
