Thank you, Gypsy. I should have the next chapter up by Sunday if editing goes well. It's weird how this book has evolved.
God bless,
Steve

Oy, my. What a scene, Steve. I loved the name you gave him, "Father Riley" and the sanctified tone he took at the end. You treated us to a riveting, gory scene and made us feel the terror of this unfortunate group of people.
I loved the way you did the ready-set-go scene at the beginning by interspersing his actions after each step. I loved this sentence: "The diner instantly became a waking volcano that spewed screams like lava and bodies like debris across the dining room." So graphic. (I think you meant "woman" instead of "women" at the end of that paragraph and the middle of the next, though.)
I really felt for those poor patrons and staff as they helplessly pounded on the rear door, trying to escape, as the beast set upon them one by one. That was a nightmare come true for those folks.
Great writing in this chapter, Steve. Now, what the hell is the Earth going to be like with all these creatures around, who seem to be able to transform others at will? Is there any hope for mankind? I guess we'll find out!

Lol. Yes, I meant and edited, woman; thank you for that catch. I loved this review! It boosted my confidence and has me racing to write more. I have the end in sight; only a few more chapters.
I enjoyed the Volcano part as well. I'm happy the ready, set, go resonated with everyone. I wasn't sure if it would. Mankind will be in for a shit storm if the Brother's Four, Dodie Rae and Baylynn fail to erradicate them. Thanks for this exceptional review, my friend.
God bless, Jim.

In most stories it's easy to figure out where they are going from early on, but I must say, I never suspected this one would take this last turn. But thinking back to "The Curse of the Werewolf" and other movies in my childhood, I should have had an idea. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Ric, for this exceptional review, my friend, accompanied by those incredible stars. I can see the finish line after all these months. A few more chapters, and it'll be done. Maybe a series, not sure yet.
God bless,

Well, that's a fine howdy do. I was definitely not expecting that. The scene in the diner was perfectly done. You managed to capture the panic, chaos and eventually the terrifying aftermath of Riley's recruitment. Gripping. Gretchen

Dang! That's how werewolves are made! I haven't read all your chapters, so this shocked me. Even if I had read all your chapters, this would still give me chills. Will all Riley's prey become bad, hungry wolves? Or do they have free will?

Wow, this was intense! Your descriptions are so well done. I could feel the terror in the diner. The way the beast moves with such confidence is chilling. And Riley's I think is even more terrifying because of the calmness. I love how you build suspense right up to the end of the chapter.

How fascinating, now we have a fatherly Riley. Building a family of wolves to take over the earth, it seems like it will be a large family to perhaps make war on human kind, how fascinating, Steve, where to frame here? Blessings Roy

The werewolf shit is hitting the fan now! wooohooo I have one question. These werewolves talk? That's a new wrinkle in the myth but I like it. Great action in this chapter. Riley has become a force to be reckoned with. Great job.

Holy COW!! So Riley is turning these people into permanent wolves. Not shifters like Dodie Rae and Bay Lynn. Great writing. I can't wait to read more.
