I think this is written well, and it's really nice of her to write birthday poems for a lot of people. I imagine she can probably only do them for the people who she's friends with though, otherwise she wouldn't really know things about each person to put into the poems. It would ruin the surprise if she had to ask them questions about themselves ahead of time so that she can out it in the poem.

Thank you for reading. You are right some the folks are her good friends, but others she barely knows. She does research from their writing and profile, and maybe asks a friend of the person she is writing about. In short, no easy task. Terry.

I would vote for her. I've only been back briefly and have read and reviewed several of her Birthday wishes. I don't know much about her yet, but I do know that she is a special lady with a special gift. Debi, I hope it reaches all your fans and then some.

This is a great idea that Debi should be the Writer of the Year. She has struggled with illness and yet made sure everyone she heard from is wished a happy birthday with a perfect poem. I don't know how the writer of the year is chosen, but I'll back your campaign if you mount one.

I've also really enjoyed Debbie's birthday poems recently and I've marvelled at how much she manages to write about a person, making us feel as though we really know them. This is an excellent piece complementing Debbie's hard work.
