Captivating chapter! Samantha and her associates are definitely wanting to bring down Sheriff Welcher. I wonder who they are? I don't think they're Garth and his crew, because they wouldn't resort to Samantha's tactics.

What a change in Samantha when she's talking to her grandfather and when she is luring the sheriff to his doom. But is she in any of the pictures? I wonder why she would and how much will Welcher remember when he comes to?

Sam needs to keep her wits about her to keep herself out of danger. I wonder what her history with the sheriff is ... but I am glad he didn't recognise her. She is certainly out for revenge for some past situation. A lot of action here. I hope her grandfather's photos will be clear and give clues - she needs to visit him soon! Not sure how you can think or write at present but you are doing a great job!

Samantha scares me taking risks like she is with the sheriff. He'd probably kill her if he knew that she was leading him on just in order to get the dirt on him. I hope Sam keeps safe!

My thoughts are with you and I hope you are okay.
I think late at night all the pain manifests itself into these characters and my muse puts them out there for all to read. It's great therapy. LOL
