Writing has been my passion since childhood, however that passion has increased tenfold since 2018.

As a young girl, that was raised by a narcissistic mother, I had unique challenges that faced me daily!

My mother told me I would never make a good writer and I was simply no good anyway. She loved to tell me that I would never amount to anything. Well, the summer I was 20, I'd heard her put me down so much that something inside me broke and I simply said, "to hell with it" and completely stopped writing from then until early 2018. That's a very long time and I'd missed writing so very much, I realized this when it all came rushing back to me, like a tsunami!

Once I was made aware of what my mother was
(I never realized she was a narcissist, I just thought she was mean and hateful) I was free from her after I found out what her issues really were and I was able forgive but never forget and also to write again and I wrote ten poems back to back after that writing passion hit me that second time, 😂 LOL!

My realization of realizing she did have her problem but bc of that it made me suddenly free from her in every way.
I knew then that all those things were never my fault like she'd tried to make me believe all these years. She told me I was undeserving of her love and truth be told, undeserving of anyone's love, especially God's but I knew I deserved love as well yet, it was hard for me to receive that for a while because she had drummed it into my brain that I didn't!

Anyway after this big light bulb moment, my writing passion came back, fast and furious and I haven't stopped writing since;-)

Thank you all for giving me purpose and encouragement and whispering kind and encouraging words as well as constructively critiquing me about my work;-)

That is priceless to me! You guys are priceless to me;-)
