Interesting. I guess there is a good reason why Pondria didn't use his magic to escape at first. Perhaps without his love, life held only a small value. Great writing.

Great cliff hanger ending. It seems all the players are in over their heads. I loved the imagery of the ceiling, writhing and coming to life. Rheuthers anger was quite vivid. I was surprised he didn't catch on the Pondria was making the things move. Great chapter. You are really amping up the conclusion. Gretchen
