So true and words can uplift and also bring tears, they can make bad days good and good days bad, the written word has more power than the spoken words because it can be read and re-read and still have the same impact each time, fine truthful words here, love Dolly x

On the other hand, Anonymous Poet, we must be very careful to remember that not everyone shares our loves, likes or distastes for a particular genre or style of poetry and, with tact, to take their feelings into consideration when we do our reviews or respond to theirs.
I have received one star ratings simply because someone didn't care for a photo or some artwork I chose to accompany it.
Know how I know that was their reason for such a low rating?
Because they told me so, that's how.
Words have power--the power to build us up, terrify us, or tear us down.
Words have started World Wars, made some people very rich and famous (if you're lucky), and spawned love affairs that last a lifetime.
It's true what they say...
"The pen is mightier than the sword."
