Well written and it feels like one of your novels. The formula is clearly there, and the male character is very nice, supportive and fully invested at an early stage. I'm sure your fans will be pleased.
His fears have validation now she's unwed and pregnant. She'll face condemnation. I can't imagine her guilt.
-In America 2025?
"Maybe but [it] sounded good." Tyler reached over and picked up their plates.

Yes, it still happens in the US, even in 2025. I guess you don't know my next-door neighbors, well they live across the street. My husband calls them the religious compound. I am also aware of a colony that live around my mom in Missouri. I'm sure there are more that I'm unaware of. I'm actually surprised that living in Chicago how sheltered you are. Thank you for pointing out the correction. I appreciate it and have made the correction.

Like I said. Your fans will enjoy the formula. That is the goal, right?

Yes, it is.

This story is entertaining but also sad. I am a religious person, but someone who is overly religious miss the point badly. The point of true religion is to love God and your neighbor as you love yourself, not consider yourself the judge of anyone else's religion. We are given clear instructions not to judge anyone as none of us alive on Earth are beyond fault or redemption. Your excellent story very clearly highlight the damage done by someone committing serious sin in the name of being religious. Rebeka's father is not helping her, he is damaging her in a very harmful manner.

Rebeka will eventually learn about God's grace, but it will take some time. Thank you for the kind review.

Barbara,
This is a great chapter. It appears Tyler is a good doctor taking care of Rebeka the way he does. Hopefully, things will start getting steamy. LOL
Well done

Rebekka's dress code is awful! Poor girl, but if she has grown up that way, then I suppose she's used to it. It's a wonder she is allowed to write romance stories! It makes me appreciate my own upbringing more. Now Aunt Beth is there and dishy doctor has to leave. I can just imagine Rebekka's father when she and Tyler walk in and he sees she is pregant. I can see everything going pearshape with Tyler being accused of being the father. Good times ahead!! Great chapter, Barbara. :) )Sandra xx

Her father has almost disowned her over her life choices. That was mentioned in earlier chapters. Thank you for the kind review.

As soon as I pressed 'send' I remembered that! 😂😊xxx

Tyler continues as the nicest guy in the world, and Rebekah as the fortunate girl who linked up with him. Enjoyed the part about the Church standards. Those standards mean nothing if a man's heart is impure and his soul rejects God's Word.

Your wisdom speaks volumes with this review. Tyler understands and will happily accept Rebeka's way she was brought up. Thank you for the kind review.

I thought your internal dialogue was good, and it gave us an understanding of what's inside Tyler's mind.
Oh, I'm already hoping that Rebeka never leaves this wonderful man and this wonderful place. It's like she's written her own love story and is now playing it out.
I enjoyed reading this chapter.

Thank you for the encouragement. Rebeka will continue to realize maybe she needs to make a few adjustments.

I really enjoyed this cahpter! The way you showed Rebeka's upbringing made her character feel so real. I could really feel her struggle between her past and her present. Tyler's kindness toward her was so heartwarming. I especially liked the little moments of humor! Tyler's thoughts on the baggy sweats - that made me smile! You've created such an emotional story. I can't wait to read more! Keep up the amazing work!

Your encouragement makes my heart warm. Thank you. I have male reviewer who tells me that no man would act the way my heroes do. They'd expect more action.
