My goodness, he's going to kill Alyssa! Another crooked cop! Who can she trust? Maybe her sister. This is complex and I know there'll be lots of twists and turns before the end. You have me hooked, well and truly!

No problem, Wendy. Though I'm trying to shorten the chapters a bit. I think I'm losing followers because it's too long. It's hard to cram a story like this into 30 days.... like a square block into a round hole. Glad you are enjoying it. Thank you so much. Smiles, Carol

That's because my brain can only hold little tidbits at a time. There's a constant conflict of who shall be the bad guy... my characters all vie for the numeral uno. I toy with them as I decide. LOL

I have a fan story question...If I comment and review everything you write is that bad? I ran out of six stars long ago. There was a repeated word somewhere and is carry-on hyphenated or not? I could not find the repeated word because I got lost in the story...

You silly girl...the more comments and reviews I get, the better it is. As for the sixes, of course, I love them but I don't expect to have a monopoly on you. They come and go...Troy came and exited stage right to a hospital. Alyssa came and appears about to be shot....
Sandra never even made it on stage. Killed before her debut. LOL Excuse my levity. Writing must be making my head spin. Thank you so much for your kindness.

She's new but ready to sprout her wings real fast. Her nerves were unsteady but she's learning.... I just hope it's not too late.
Then there's Tommy - a cop on the take maybe or something more sinister? Dealing with Antonio - a definite creep and gun for hire.
Wonder what's waiting just around the corner.
