Wow, I'm amazed you were able to write with all you have going on. And, this episode is a action packed as previous chapters. I was surprised Sam was the granddaughter of Henry and Tina, and wonder what happened to her and Sheriff Welcher in the past. It seems that more than one person in this story is out for revenge.
There are a few little nits, but I'm sure someone will point them out and they will be corrected. I'm glad you have writing as an outlet. Prayers.

Sam talks to her grandpa who has seemingly taken some photographs of a threesome at the beach, two men and a girl, up to stuff, grandpa hate Welcher and may probably shoot him if necessary. Sam had devised a cunning plan to catch Welcher in a compromising situation, and succeeds in drugging him, strips him naked, and leaves him in an awful dilemma, beautifully written Carol, excellent post, blessings Roy

I have no idea how you're doing this. BUT I can also tell you are highly distracted. The story line is still amazing - but there are some simple little nits here that give away the fact that your brain is being pulled in several directions. Man, I wish I could give you a big hug! Or just be there with you to help you deal with some of this stuff. I know how strong you are but everybody needs a helping hand SOMEtimes - even superman! Right?

3.) She smiled and stepped very close to (her) prey.
BLECH! And YUCK! And PUKEY!!! Nice job. Of grossing your readers out, that is. ICK!

I find my mind walks easier through a dark fictional murder mystery than it can through reality at the moment. Please know that without your support and constant encouragement, I doubt that I could exist. The only glimmer of hope I find is with you and others like you on this site. I am so appreciative of your time and effort to review my story and I apologize for always being behind with my thank yous. please know that I read each and everyone when they arrive though I lag far behind in the thank you department.
