Moving forward, leaving our past mistakes and excess baggage behind, we can reset our goals and achieve them. Achievement is possible only when we take the opportunity to look up and catch that updraft - to avoid being mired in regret. Your poem is uplifting in more ways than one. Well done. None of us are unfortunately but as long as we have genuine remorse and try and seek forgiveness for the wrongs we have done... Hope will indeed have the chance to raise its glorious phoenix wings and rise from the ashes of our ruined lives.

I gave this 4 stars because it is suppose to be about a flaw you see in yourself. But what is the flaw? It is an excellent poem about hope raising above not being perfect and making mistakes, but for me I think I wondering what flaw caused you to make those mistakes? You are a good writer, Keep it up.

The flaw is making chronically bad decisions based on a number of things at the time, be it hidden selfish motives, fear, greed, envy?even anger.
