200 Word Adventure

Paul, fully dedicated to his craft, is grappling with the choice of his next story. Should it be a chilling horror novel? The options are endless, but Paul's focus is unwavering. He diligently outlines his ideas on the computer, then ventures outside to gather inspiration from strangers, all in the pursuit of his next literary masterpiece.
 
After thorough investigation and research, Paul's mind is set on a horror novel. It's a tale of suspense, his first to be published. He meticulously crafts his story, using a notebook, and post-it notes for consideration. His narrative features a terrifying villain, lurking in the shadows, ready to pounce on unsuspecting victims. The tension builds as the villain emerges from the closet, leaving a trail of innocent families in its wake.
 
Determined to find a resolution, Paul devises a plan in which the villain is dropped into a time portal, a twist that he believes will captivate his readers. With his novel complete, Paul eagerly awaits the verdict. To his delight, the book receives rave reviews, a testament to his hard work and dedication. His first novel is a resounding success, a fitting end to his journey. Paul can breathe a sigh of relief.
