Splish-splashing

Love Contest Winner 
with the coming of Spring
I love to splish-splash in my pool
relaxing,getting cool
before kids' release from school

Sun beams casting rays while I'm splashing
Diamonds on rivulets flashing
Peaceful sky
Puffy white clouds move slowly by
Winds blow above with a gentle sigh

Children join me in cheerful dipping
Churning ripples with my hair dripping
From shallow end to deep
Shadowy silhouettes circle a swimmer's leap

Fall approaches; end of swim
Bluish-gray clouds floating in so dim
