You Will See

You must view me as I actually exist
You may try to silence me, but I will resist

The proof of my success, shows which of us is weak
You try hard to deny the truth of which I speak.

You claim to follow Jesus, while weapons you hoard
Jesus warned that we might die by the sword

God's followers are known by the love they project
False followers exposed by the love they reject.

They will tell Jesus, "We did great things in your name."
He will expose them as liars who lack shame.

They claimed to know God, but they rejected his son.
Jesus often told them he and the father were one.

They were of the same mind, and of the same accord
Murderers of God's son made a debt none could afford.

Soon the time will arrive for payment to be made
It will occur although the date has been delayed.

I am delighted to have joined that happy crowd
My entry into his family was allowed.

Obedience to him, means a bright future for me
So, be wise, open your eyes and you yourself will see.
