What a tough choice. Some very, very good entries in an excellent contest. This was just a bit more original than the others, I thought.
Just enjoyed the story line. All poems were just wonderful to read. Truly enjoy starting my day reading poetry of others.
The touch is delicate, the humour subtle, the use of the fourth line to express inner thoughts superb - and I felt like knocking off the busybody myself!
It was witty and wicked and so well-written.
