celticeagle: I am not making some writers unhappy with my reviews. I am honest and tell them what I think. I think some people give the highest possible for a myriad of reasons. I don't like that. I would much rather have an honest assessment of my work instead of just a high score to be nice. I give a six(or five is that is where I am and have no six) if the work is of high quality and has no grammatical errors or writing foopahs. I vote two, three, or four if it needs work and to what degree. I do try to give examples but sometimes it just seems so obvious. |

I have my actual reply to your review below... >>>Thank you celticeagle, three stars is a very low rating. Perhaps you can justify this with a few examples of the grammar and tense problems. May I point out that this has been edited from 868 words down to 490 word for word. Enlighten me please, it is expected...<<< * You are new to the site, this is not a problem to me. We all have to learn. Like most writers on this site my main aim is to improve my work. When you get a low star rating, this is like a wake up call. You naturally think errors have been spotted. Of course you expect to be shown what these are. Most reviewers up the rating when these have been sorted. This is not what is important, it's the help that counts every time for me. When you review, think how your reactions would be if you were receiving that low review. Would you want help? - | ||
