emjaihammond: Finally, I get some time to be back with Fanstory. I've really missed reading the work of my fellow writers on this site and I am anxious to start writing again. In the past months I have published a second children's book. Angels in Training is for sale through Amazon. I look forward to catching up. I've already read some wonderful poems and writing and hoping to spend a quiet Sunday afternoon reading more. Thank you for your patience. I hate being away.

    emjaihammond: Just an early morning note of thanksgiving. My daughter, Katie, gave birth to a healthy little girl yesterday. As many have read in early poems and stories from April, I was anxious for them. They are both doing well. Cora has joined our family at 6 lbs and 10 oz. Just wanted to share this wonderful event. Thanking God for His goodness. -

    emjaihammond: Well, it's official, Steve and I are empty nesters! Our son was married last Friday. But for now, there is plenty of activity with grandchildren all here in town. I have the boys today and tomorrow then switching off to have the girls. Isn't it funny how 3 little boys is equal to all seven girls? I'm just sayin'! -
