Chris Tee: Roxy our second Ridgeback has just become a mother of ten beautiful puppies, also her first taste of motherhood.

    mrsmajor: Congratulations to you both...I hope all of them will be well and stay well...I'm not sure, but is that the dog, that has some identifying way that the back looks..I think I remember that from the Dog show, but I most certainly could be wrong...anyway Congratulations. -
    Chris Tee: Yes the back has a ridge where the growth of hair goes in the opposite direction, It is a large specie and excellent watchdogs -
    mrsmajor: Yes I have heard that, and they are also becoming more available too...I have what is now being called a designer dog...A Labrador/Great dane mix...its called a Labradane...and he's just 2 years old now...what a beauty...now that he has lost some weight...The Vet advised us to do that, an he's down to just 80 pounds...I wish all of those puppies well, I know you will be happy about that.. -
    Chris Tee: We have a Great dane mixed with what they call Boerbull and it is just under a year old and stands about three feet high. He is also a wide awake dog and nobody will trespass on this farm with him around. -


Chris Tee: The puppies are doing well and their eyes are now open and they are starting to walk. Of the ten one died on day one and the other nine are all well and busy. Two weeks old. Candy is an excellent mother.


Chris Tee: How wonderful is this creation we call universe.
Last one of our pedigree ridge back dogs, Candy had ten puppies and as small as they are, perfectly formed and very busy. Her first taste of motherhood.
