Osiek: October 11, I was told my Aunt Verla was about to die. On October 13 I received the news she actually did. So if anyone is wondering where I am at the last few days...this is where... |

Osiek: "Flame of Truth" is a children's fantasy book I am writing. I only have three chapters here...but my head is full of tales to tell. I have an illness called Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. In 1982, I came down with a viral infection, that led to bacteria infection, that led to yeast infection and allergy flare ups. Social Security Disability has been my primary source of income. October 2010 was a "healing" time for me. I was in the least amount of pain I have been in years. Writing my story, "Flame of Truth" became a new hobby. Some friends said I had talent, so I started to find ways to share my talent and let it grow. FanStory has been a blessing to me. People on the site have shown me how to write with a purpose. I appreciate having this site available to me very much! |

Osiek: I have no idea if I can write poetry that makes the heart beat faster. The words roll in my head and I often struggle to get them out. Often, I turn to friends who help me to put down the words in print. FanStory is a great place for finding that kind of help! |
