Just this past July I moved to a small country town in South West Ohio a mere 20 minutes from Maysville, KY - the folk are at best 10 to 15 years behind the rest of the world, Lol and I love it.

So many speak of their muse and I have often wondered if poetic muse is singular as I have many. Music, children, grand-children, nature, any source of water in the natural world, newspaper articles, stories from tv and books and did I mention music - other works have inspired me as well.

I have been on this website for over a year now and have met some amazing people. What makes them so amazing to me is their talent for writing and their ability to be open and honest with their reviews and in receiving the same in return.

I covet peoples thoughts on my work good or bad - I need them for growth as a writer. And growing is why I am here on this site. So I continue here with periods of time where my life and emotions become overwhelmed and making sense of it all is too hard - a sabbatical if you will. Then I return with new stuff ... love this site - hope to hang out for a long time.
