Singing, writing, and being a good wife and Mum

Honey tree is the preferred name. I was a nurse for many years, until I hurt myself at work. I have left my nursing profession seven years ago.

I like writing my songs, poems and stories. I sing at some folk clubs when I can.I write songs and still doing this. I love my friends, we meet often to have lunch. We usually meet at the same spot, as the service is very good.

We are a close family,our older son is back from England.He has gone back to university this year.

Our younger son is a Graphic Designer for a football club and loves his job.
My husband is Graphic Designer as well and works from home but has retired and has turned towards his painting more.

He has exhibited in England in Dorset where we were living and Arts societies around Melbourne.

My Dad had a great voice, he had a chance to go to America with his voice. His aunt wouldn't let him go. My Great,Great, Grand, parents from Mom's side immigrated from Ireland as settlers.

My grand parents on my mothers side had 17 one was still born. My parents died many years ago and we miss them very much. My husband's parents died about ten years ago. His sister has Multiple Sclerosis and is not to bad at the moment. My older sister is married and has two children.
I sustained an injury to both knees. To cut a long story short, I have had two knee replacements. I am much better with my new knees.
After my nursing years, I have turned towards the other tools I have, as a hobby. I like singing, writing songs and poetry and short stories.

The whole concept of birth and living is to love and learn in knowing, what life is about?. To help others when we can.

Being a wife and mum is not as busy now. The boys have grown into big boys. Having family is good having time with my family is great.

Life can be tough for many people these days.

I love life, I love my family have heaps to learn will take the knocks as well as recognition with my writing as I learn even more.

I thank Fan story for helping me. I am gaining more confidence and knowledge.
