Buctar is one of the fantasy characters--the grandfather of the main players in the series. He is a published author who writes his fantasy stories for his grandchildren. The Third Stone is book six in a seven book series. It follows Samos, a young wizard as he searches for a way home after a huge bird snatches him in mid-air and deposits him on a remote island. He finds an old king exiled there, and he has to rescue both of them. For the purpose of FS, Bill, the real Buctar, spent 33 years as a Navy pilot before going into the business world. His real life adventures have taken him all around the world. Today, he's fully retired and spends his time writing.
