What a spectacular picture capturing a rare moment! I admired your matching title plus the Terza Rima form and its rhymes. Here's to embracing "life to the fullest". Cheers- Joan

This is so very good, June! I know the complications and challenges that come from writing this form and I wholeheartedly applaud you on both execution and theme. So very well done!

Instead of wasting moments counting time,
I'll savor all the nectar I can find, - I love your opening lines June, and can relate to them at the moment in my own life. My tears fall because this is so very nicely done, and so very apt for me at this time,
cheers,
valda

This terza rima, Savor the Nectar, has the proper formatting and reminds the reader that life is short band that we must gather our nectar while we may.

This is a very nice and well written Terza Rima poem you have penned for the potlatch poetry event. You used very good descriptive words and very beautiful imagery from the art work you chose. Thanks for sharing. Blessings, Teri

This is excellent work June. You are such a fine poet and a master of forms that are still beyond my reach.
With great skill and heartfelt emotion you extend the metaphor in superb fashion. Breathtaking!
My favourite stanza:
"Though dreams don't have an expiration date,
procrastination keeps them in a jar -
like butterflies in time they suffocate."
Carpe diem.
Stay safe

June, your poem is excellent. I, myself, procrastinate every day. I can't imagine how my life would have been if I had done things right away.
Your use of nectar as being the sweet things in life, and your allegory about butterflies make your poem enticing; you give the reader hope in the end.
Very fine poem.
Best wishes,
Cindy.

A very well-written terza rima about the butterflies' quest to gather nectar to pollunate the flowers wherever they go from there to make sure next year there will be more.
