Thank goodness you found that nit! Thank you again, Debs, for another lovely review. I really am appreciating you reading these. Big, warm hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xx

This book is amazing, Sandra. I can't wait to get my hands on the first published copy of it!
I love that you chose the tetra for this chapter, but I have to mention the barracuda, too, only because of my own experiences with it. While in Bimini snorkeling (and in Jamaica too), I saw many, and they are also see-through! *smile*

Oh, Dawn, thank you so much for the six stars and the fabulous review. I now have to go and look at the Barracudda and see what I missed. I didn't know they were see-through. You are lucky to have seen them. You have stirred my curiousity now. Sending you a huge hug, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Hugs right back! Sometime I'll tell the story of the one that made me scream underwater... (Hahaha - true!)

Oh, Yes, you must write about that! I'd love to hear about it. :))

They are interesting fish indeed. They can be hidden probably easily except for those fins as you've so eloquently stated. Thanks for sharing this informative and well written work. Well done!

Thank you so much for reading this one, Jeffrey, I'm just sorry the promotion had finished. I'm pleased you enjoyed reading about the little fish. Only two left to go!! Warm hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xx

We've reached the X already. Wow, this has gone by fast. Almost to the end. The Xray Tetra, which Inever knew existed, get a cool drawing, fun poem, swell pictures, and lots of data to bring us all up to speed. Good stuff.

I know, it suddenly reached X in a blink! Twenty-four letters completed, and only two left to do. It's been fun. But what has struck me most is, how much man-made climate change and man's greed in taking, and not replacing, is destroying so many of them. Let's hope we can stop it.
I have to ask, your picture, it really looks like that sea-monkey I have in the second to last picture, but I'm sure it's not. What is it? :))
Thank you for the lovely review, my friend. Have a great day. :) Sandra xx

I believe it is a sea worm.

It looks just like that sea monkey, which is a type of worm, so it could be it. How weird that I should have that one in this letter.

This well written with no errors and full of information about the subject. The illustrations pair perfectly and set the stage for your words. I cannot wait to buy this book for my grandson.

I've been so surprised and delighted at how popular this series has been, it's been a lot of work, but worth it. Two letters to go! This was indeed an amazing revelation of a life from I had no prior knowledge of. I am simply amazed by the variety of God's creations. Who can even imagine what he had in mind when he created this species. Whatever his reason, the world is more entertaining I think, with the addition of this very interesting fish. Thank you for this highly entertaining write

Thank you so very much for the lovely review and six star award, my dear Nomi, that is so kind of you. It is amazing how many creatures God has in His fold. We are just one of them. I wonder how many other species there are that we don't know about. I'm so pleased you enjoyed this one, my dear friend, thank you. Sending you a warm hug. :)) Sandra xx

Hello Sandra xx,
X is for X-ray Tetra - Nice piece in taking the series forward in an interesting way.
Description in both Verse and Prose is lovely.
Pictures enhance depth and beauty of the theme.
As usual, Entertaining as well as Educative!
Undoubtedly, worth appreciating, and deserves to be honored with SIX STARS.

Hello Sandra
What a good idea - I am sorry I am only coming to this at X (unless you are working backwards!)
This is a clever project and X is a tricky letter in many areas (it has ruined many an ABC poem!) I recall someone saying that the principle use of a xylophone was merely to illustrate the letter X in children's books.
A couple of nits, but they are slight and do not detract from the reading;
...12 year-old grandson (12-year-old)
...little chapies. (chappies)
...are difficult to find (you have a double space after 'are')
...found in fresh water or (ditto after 'fresh')
I wish you well in finishing this work and with your continued writing.
Cheers - stay safe

Hello Phill, thank you so very much for your lovely review. Yes, two letters to go, it's been a long project with all the research, but such fun. I don't know about my grandson, but I've learnt masses doing this.
I have sorted those nits out, thank you for that. It is important to get this right because a few copies have already been ordered for Eric's school when it's published. I don't want his head-teacher picking up my nits! lol. Thank you again for your help. I appreciated it immensely. Have a lovely day! :)) Sandra

I love these little fish. I also am really enjoying your additions as you move through the alphabet. Once you get to z, I will have to go back and see the others. :)
