Beautifully written Acrostic poem on the value of life. "I LOVE LIFE, DON'T YOU?" It's theme was very well thought out with each line purposed and meaningful. Wonderful job and much luck in the contest!

Excellent

Good, but not an acrostic as shown in the example and contest announcement. You might want take another look. An acrostic spells out the title of the poem using the first letter of each line. Not seeing that. There's probably still time to edit.

Thanks NOR84 for reading my poem and for the very nice review. According to the instructions, it spells out a word or idea, usually the title, but not always. I do appreciate you trying to help save my entry. I'll probably lose to someone who does spell out the title though.

Thanks again for reading one of my poems, and for the very nice review. My biological father was gay, but he found my mother to be attractive enough to be with her at least once!
A 'man's man,' in my opinion, is a guy who is rugged and hunts, fishes, plays sports, likes to be with the guys etc. I was in the 3rd grade when he married my mother. He was tough on me, forcing me to do many things that I was hesitant about. Case in point - when he learned that the kids were down at the local pond playing hockey, and I wasn't. He took me down the pond, and forced me to skate until I could do it. I never fell down so many times in my life. It was tough at the time, but later I realized he didn't want me to follow in my father's footsteps. He was a great man.
