I so enjoyed reading this excellently written free verse, Jim. The idea of stepping into a cosmic circle to begin a journey is exciting and the subsequent ideas that support it are very well chosen. I would mention that in the second stanza, fifth line, you have two words bumping into each other... agolden.... Well done!!

I so enjoyed reading this excellently written free verse, Jim. The idea of stepping into a cosmic circle to begin a journey is exciting and the subsequent ideas that support it are very well chosen. I thought you had a great musical and rhythmic sense of the language as you worked it into these circles and loops twisted around itself in an image of the infinite. Of course the circle is a great metaphor for the infinite. Nice job with the format here and I liked the visual effects of these empty spaces opening out into unfolding galaxies and clusters of galaxies into ever greater distances. estory
