I feel so much for Mara in this chapter. She has no soul but has a far better future ahead than the rest of her people. And the beast... maybe the Aallotar is it. (Just a guess.) But I love how you wove into this chapter... it gives it a lot of mystery. I want to know what this beast tied to Mara's life or destiny is exactly. I'm taking notes. I love the description and the swiftness. Can't wait to for the next chapter!
