I noticed two periods after the words 'a rider's whip'.
Another great first chapter. I have a feeling this one's going to be a novel I'll never forget reading. The first words grabbed me out of my seat. It seems as if Sabine is the favorite. which already has you on Mara's side. Her father sounds mericliess and the archer... he may be connected to more. Mara might become a warrior. This is the proluge so this is before she's older. I'm taking notes for my own writing.
Can't wait for the next chapter!
