I love your author's note. It made me smile.
Good story. Good, strong mom not to baby him and turn him into a "victim."
And the end-- he did get sat on, and lost his sugar babies, but he fought back, verbally. Cute and realistic.

A great story of finding your own courage in the face of adversity. your description of the fight is gritty and real. When the red mist descends we are capable of anything and of course your reputation wont have suffered.

An enjoyable read and an example of how bullies and the sort should be dealt with I have to confess that I have never really had any problems with bullies in my childhood as I always tried talking my way out and retaliating as a last resort. Then the results that I remember were good although I was told to keep my fists to myself.
