I'm catching up on my novels her on FanStory (I've been busy preparting for a vacation). I find McKenzie to be coming around - still vulnerable but understanding things a bit more. I'm afraid something is about to happen and Logan will be put through the ringer once again!

Barbara,
Nice chapter - not much happening, but you need a little 'down-time' in between the exciting stuff to allow the readers' nerves to recuperate. *smile*
Only one small note:
--> Sheila touched her husband('s) hand.
Thanks!

This has me all excited. I can't wait to learn if anything happens to Mac now that Logan has left for the funeral. She must really be scared if she warned Sheila not to stay, as it might put her and the baby in danger. Great build up to what could be another attempt on Mac's life. Mac is beginning to trust Trey now, so that's good. The alcohol poisoning is still a problem, and it is taking time for Mac to recover. Great characterization. Logan's friends really come through for him. judi

Man, everybody is on Mac and Logan love affair:) and they have not said anything officially to each other... yet. Hopefully Mac will recover soon and she will get a chance to start their own family soon. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

Your stories are always like adding the mortar to the bricks one at a time and stacking them in a straight line from the foundation to the roof. Plumb and everything squared. Thanks for sharing.

I think this write is reaching out into a depth of worry. She is not of danger yet or it does not seem that way.
So we have a vase with ashes to contend with.
Shaping something is about to happen. I can tell in your writing. HUM

Hello Barb,
All seems to be going well with Mac. And smile it's good the see that Mac and Logan are getting closer and closer to a serious romance.
I don't know why I have a feeling that something unexpected will take place during or after the the funeral.

Super. I enjoyed the hospital scene and all the juicy bits of human imteractioms in the middle of everything else. It makes life worth living. The romance between Logan and Mackenzie just gets sweeter.
Sending you my best today as always and six stars, dear Barbara.

Very well written. It is nice to see what an extended and blended family is supposed to, and how they react when one is hurt or in the hospital. At first it all seemed strange to me, but now I think this is how it should be.
Well written.

I think it's how it should be too. I raised four boys, three are married with their own families. We are very close and supportive even though we live miles apart.. I'm in Texas, one is in Colorado, two are in Missouri, but not close to each other. The one, unmarried one is still at home with us. Thank you for the kind review.

So with Mac recovering, and four good friends watching over here Logan needs to go to His Sisters funeral, and this needs to be done. I wonder where to now, they still need evidence to catch Sydney Parks. Beautifully written dear Barbara, blessings, Roy
