Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

Yes, this post and its successors will be a useful reference for writers of both poetry and prose when they get stuck trying to think of just the right description for (in this case, eyes, look, or face) in a particular situation, as you are known to be an expert describer. Thank you. You clearly put a lot of effort into this compilation, and the eyes and related concepts are a good place to start.

Superb, and aptly illustrated.

Thank you so much for the marvelous review and compliments. I'm so honored! I started on this months ago and I've been pecking at it ever since. I'm glad the finished version looks good to you.
Sending you my best today as always and many blessings, dear Mike,

You are most welcome, Sal. Putting this together while doing all your other writing plus unrelated daily tasks has to have been tiring for your eyes, though satisfying. I'm glad to see the first chapter of this helpful work which will save fellow writers time and energy, allowing greater focus on their project at hand. In that respect, your post well fits the FanStory principle of writers helping each other improve. -- Mike

This is great. You will draw the reader in if they are a writer. What a novel idea for a chapter. There will definitely be some suggested details we've never thought of. The image "caramel eyes" created is unique. I will definitely use that someday. You sentence examples are just right too. They seem to put it all together for the reader who will think, "I wish I could write like that." You have essentially said, "You can." Thank you.

I just remembered today, one of my friends who is now deceased was legally blind and as she lost more and more of her sight, she turned to the energy mole gives. The gifts mole gives are helping with our lack of foresight, he helps us find our way. Also he says,"let go of doubt, it's doing nothing for you."

There are so many writer's expressions I've seen and read. They seem to have descriptions I can't fathom, for instance "sloe-eyed" never worked out, hooded eyes is another. But very helpful dear Sally, these are very helpful. Jay Squires is another that writes great help, Robyn Corum another. Beautifully written Sally, blessings Roy

I'm eyeing your helpful list while typing this (and also enjoying hearing Peter Gabriel again - thank you for that).
The eyes are indeed a powerful means of communicating in a story - an appropriate description can say so much and the lists you've provided will be helpful to many.

Good luck with your unruly ancestral eyebrows!

You opened something I learned years ago but have more or less swept it aside for a rainy day.
Thanks Sal for stirring the mind and picking out pieces great writers had placed in my brain.

Hello Sally, How the heck do you get the energy and enthusiasm to keep writing? This write, for example must have taken some time to think it all out. But, I do believe the eyes are a powerful source of communication and 'speak' louder than words on occasions. You can give someone a warning look in a risky situation, without saying a word. You are tireless, and I always enjoy what you have to say. This is well done and such an intriguing piece of work, and as usual my best wishes to you, love Dorothy xxx

Sally,
I would say....
The verdict is in on your tips for writing..
The eyes (ayes) have it! It was good fun and good writing.
Eye am not sure but seeing things through your eyes...
makes me grin...
That particular facial movement (grinning) is one that helps make my eyes light up with joy...and shows off my off white teeth against olive colored skin.
Stay well dear writer of eye-ronic information.
