Too late to earn brownie points, but not too late to appreciate another excellent chapter. To be honest, I'd never heard of Narwhals, so this was especially interesting. I must also admit that I thought the tusk might be used to catch food.... okay, I didn't think that one through!
Looking forward to O - I don't doubt it will be just as interesting.

They are just the coolest of the cool in the oceans, ya know?!! ;) Great chapter for 'N', Sandra, there's too little out there about these guys!! ;) :) I didn't know they didn't migrate -- that's actually pretty interesting, ya know?!! ;) I'm thinking the reason only the males have 'em is so that they can have their own male competition of whose is the longest/biggest...lol!! ;) :) Thanx for the latest alphabet-fun! ;) :) Yvette
P.S. Sorry so far behind -- 'downsizing' is more than a small ordeal!! I'll get there and caught up... soon? ;) :)

I found it a lot harder to downsize, you have to be ruthless with what you want to keep and what you can let go. I ended up filling our attic when we moved back from our huge home in Spain, to the little home we have now, and still had to get rid of some. So, I completely understand.
Thank you for this fun review, Yvette, I laughed my socks off at the male thing. Who has the biggest!! LOL. Enjoy your day, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Delightful--fun and fascinating--cute bonus poem. This series will surely be grabbed by a publisher--so much above the usual condescending kiddie books! Cheers. LIZ

Hi Liz thank you for another of your lovely reviews. I'm so encouraged by what you've said here, I might see if I can get it traditionally published. No harm in trying! Thank you! :)) Sandra xx

Hello Sandra,
Nar, mate. I don't think its a whale at all. Who ever heard of ten foot tooth.
Perhaps it's a skewer for Shish kafish. It even rhymes.
A dentist's nightmare, for sure. Imagine getting a ten foot toothache.
If these exists, I bet unicorn once did too.
Kid'll love this chapter and the Narwhal poem, as well as the notes.
Easy to see why narwhals practice ten foot social distancing.
Well done!
Robert

Shish kafish!!!!! LOL! Only you could have come up with that one, LOL! And the dentist, can you imagine going in for a filling? How much would that set us back? Social distancing, oh my, you are just too funny! Goodness knows what you'll come out with when I post the next one.
Thank you, Robert, you certainly gave me a giggle with your fun review. Then on top of that, you give me another lovely 6! A 12 star review and the six stars, who could wish for a better end of day? Thank you, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Once again I love the idea of writing an alphabet book. I have always thought Narwhals are so cool. They are so cute and nice looking. They have always reminded me of a unicorn that swims.

Oh, thank you, Megan! They are lovely, aren't they. While researching this one, I wondered how on earth they don't hurt each other. They swim so close together. I'm so pleased you enjoyed reading about the narwhals, they are cool, aren't they. I'm keeping all my fingers crossed that Eric will also think they are. Thank you, my friend, for this lovely review, and the six stars. Have a wonderful week! :)) Sandra xx

Wow, this was really interesting, and your right your chapters are really for kids from 9 to 109. Definitely caught me amongst that group. This was very informative and had a really fun feel to it. There should be more books like this to spark kids interest. Good stuff there, Sandra.

I was reading your profile and saw you had Siberian Huskies, is that where your pen name comes from? Sibhus? Clever. I love those dogs, they are gorgeous.
Thank you for this lovely review, I'm delighted you come somewhere in the 9-109 age group! Lol.
I really appreciated what you said in your review, that was such a nice compliment. Thank you. :)) Sandra xx

Yes, sibhus, is short for Siberian Husky your only one of a few that caught that.

Hi Sandra,
I wanted to tell you that my energy level is really low. My symptoms were so bad the other day, it crossed my mind to get tested for Covid, but I knew they were allergy related.
I'm telling you this because I'll be spending less time on F.S., but I will pop in from time to time.
Anyway, this is another amazing chapter to your amazing animals book. A ten foot long tooth! Now, that's truly amazing. Stay safe, dear one. Hugs, Lou

Oh, dear. I hope you feel better soon. Did the test come back negative? I'll miss you. Yes, do pop in when you can and let me know how you are, please.
Thank you so much for the six stars, and the lovely things you always say about my ABC book. Just get better, and come back well. Sending you a healing hug, and lots of love! :)) Sandra xxx

What a great thing to write - an abc book for your grandson. Will you be publishing it when it's complete? I'd love to get it for my grandchildren!
Apart from being very interesting and educational, I laughed out loud at the bit about you googling to find out if the Narwhals spear their prey - hilarious!
I also liked "they now think it's for showing off when they want to impress a girlfriend!" and "Think of the stag, the reindeer with their antlers, and human boys with their posh cars! " which might take a bit of explaining to a 9 year old!
I must try and read more if all your chapters are as good as this.
Thanks for sharing it.

What a lovely review! Thank you so very much, Saramac, you have really made my day. Yes, I will be publishing when I've finished it and had another edit. I'm over the moon that you liked it, and yes, I'm trying to make it light and interesting for all ages now. Thank you again for this really lovely review. Have a wonderful day. :)) Sandra xxx

Well done again Sandra! I do so love the Narwhal. I love that you compared their tusks to a boy's posh car... haha. (Something that they show off with) That is hilarious. Of course your poem is beautiful and so kid friendly. I, as always, have learned so many new facts from you. One note: At the end, you say "Up until this year, 2020..." I would change that to "Up until the year 2020..." because, I think you are going to sell this book. and it will do very well! Keep it open for many years to come. (Just my suggestion) I love your book and this chapter is stellar! -January L. :)

Thank you so much for your lovely review January, and for the suggestion that really made a lot of sense. I've just been back and changed it to read they way you said. I never thought of it like that, but it really is a sensible thing to put. I'm also pleased that you enjoyed reading about these fascinating creatures. Have a wonderful day! :)) Sandra xx
