This is another great piece! You have the perfect combination of words and images in this one. It's very eye-catching. I notice a couple of things but they're just technical. From my perspective, "south-western" shouldn't be hyphenated but you may have learned differently so scratch that one. The second is in this: "Their biggest threat comes from the eagles, jackals and some snakes." I'm thinking it should be, "Their biggest threats come..." because multiple predators equal multiple threats. That's just my opinion. Again, great work. I foresee my children becoming fans of yours. :)

Hi Charley, thank you for going back and reading this one. And a big thank you for picking out that missing 's' on threats, you are absolutely right and I'm surprised no one else picked up on that, especially me! I love having children reading my work. I've been writing for all age groups, from the very young to adult novels. But, I think my biggest love is for children. My grandchildren are my biggest fans, and also by far my biggest critics! Thank you again, for another lovely review. I'm delighted you enjoyed this one as well. :)) Sandra xx

Children are so courageous, even the shy ones. They point out so many things to us that adults would be afraid to say. It's a great thing - most of the time. :)

I actually enjoyed the read Sandra, very educational, and nicely presented. The visual side of things are very important for children, and its good to see you have incorporated that in your presentation.
A very well done. He will be proud to have this write for him.
My best wishes.

Hello, RG, how lovely to see you back here! I hope you're keeping safe and well? Thank you so much for reading my letter M. I agree with you, visuals are very important, it helps them remember and understand. I'm doing this with all the letters. I'm delighted you thought it was good. Thank you, my friend. Don't go staying away again! I've missed your beautiful poems, and your voice. :)) Sandra xx

Such a beautiful, resilient little animal. From the photos I see that he is very comely. I'm surprised Meerkats live longer in captivity; I thought they would thrive better in their own surroundings. This is such a lovely presentation, Sandra. I will be returning to read your other works. Have a wonderful day.
Best wishes,
Cindy

I think they live longer in captivity because they don't have the predators to deal with. I doubt the animal parks will sort the scorpions out for them, but then again, who knows! I'd let them get on with it. Thank you so much for reading this one, Cindy, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Very well done. I found this extremely interesting and, yes, educational. I knew very little about meerkats until I read your story. Your grandson is fortunate to have a grandmother as interesting and well read as you.
Thanks for the read.
Good luck. Good writing.

One again I think it's very nice of you to write this book. Each new chapter teaches me new things and I really like that. Meerkats are so cool and they are actually my Grandpas favorite animal.

M is for Meerkat
Smiles to you Sandra ( sandramitchell) for another one of your wonderful writing of describing animals from A to Z.
One thing I was amazed was that part of their diet are
spiders, and a few nice scorpions.
Your pictures of the Meerkat are great.
Thank you for sharing your postings.

A few nice scorpions, lol, that is one of their most favourite dishes! I don't think I'll try them. Thank you so much for reading my letter M, Gert, and the lovely review. The next one is N, and although some have tried to guess what it is, no one has got it right yet. Hope to see you there. Enjoy the rest of your week, my friend. :) Sandra xx

I know your grandson will love this book when it is finished. I am finding it
very interesting. I don't think I ever heard of the meerkats. The information
and pictures show that you really do good research.
