This short poem is metaphoric and calming. It tells us the time and expressing sadness heals it. Both can remove grief and allow love
of life again.
Congrats on placing second in the contest
Keep writing and stay healthy.

Thank you so much for your review and congrats, Joan -- I apologize for being so far behind (gonna sell this crazy house soon hopefully cuz I'm damn tired of making it 'look wonderful and inviting' - lol!)... :) Take care! Yvette

My pleasure. Showings are always hard. Good luck.

No sixers left but this deserves one, for sure. I always know I'm in for a treat when I read your work and this is no exception. Such beautiful imagery and presentation. Would that it were so.

Thank you so much for stopping in for the awesome review, Marcia - you always know how to make me smile! ;) :) I apologize for the delay as we are readying our house to sell (trying to 'downsize'!!). May you have a wonderful remainder of the week! ;) Yvette

You are most welcome. Hard to find time to write in the middle of this process. I know, we just went through it. The condo sold the first day of showings. I wish you good luck with that process. Take care, my friend.

You create such a vivid image with streams of "time and teardrops." Both can flow uncontrollably and there is no calling either of them back. I really like the optimistic ending you give to the verse.

I'm not sure how I'd missed this and then I was it was my vacation departure. The lovely, colorful presentation I have grown to love.
Sending you my best today as always,

This is beautifully illustrated and composed. Ending line: 'til the heart finds Love's sustaining sea" is so true. Best of luck in the four-line poetry contest. Marilyn

Hi Yvette. I'm still in Wisconsin. Not sure how long I'll be here. I'm half packed and half unpacked.

Geez! life's scabrous pains!?!? I love that, I have to use it somewhere:) Y.M. Another excellent entry. Picture, verse, and message are all in agreement, even the commentary "you have to believe..." was in agreement with the whole pkg. Good luck, and best wishes. Steve

Thanx so much for your review on this short one, Steve -- sometimes they're more challenging than the longer ones, ya know?! ;) Good to hear from you, sir -- take care! ;) Yvette

The words flow like the image, and feel good to read aloud. I would like to think it is all worth it in the end. I like the word scabrous, I will have to look it up, but it sounds painful. It may just end up in my lexicon.
Thank you for sharing.

This four-line poem, Waterway to Eternity, has the proper formatting and doesn't leave any scabrous pains after reading it. I learned another new word.

Hello friend,
I always find delight in how you blend your "hand picked" words with a blend of colours that are equally "delicately picked" ... select a font . . . and then allow the colours to capture the energy of the graphic art. Using one's brain, eyes, and poetic ear are becoming a lost art. You are Master of the Art. Thank you for showing how it's done.
