Hi, Fonda Little.
Your poem is exceptional. You're right, hatred is nonproductive and very destructive. It's easy in life to be good to your friends, why not for people who hate you. I used to hate, and every once in a great while it tries to surface,
But loving thy neighbor is the best thing to do.
Have a great Labor Day . Your poem is a true gift for people.
Blessings,
Cindy

If people had even one minute of belief of what you say here, the world would be an entirely different place. No one would be trying to make anyone into something else. There would be no exclusion, judgment, bullying, condemnations, and no violence of any kind. I hope the reader reads this an is invited to self examine. Thank you.

Hi Fonda. Do you realize this entry is supposed to be in a Rhyming Poetry contest?? Of course none of it rhymes, my friend.
Also I suggest you use a different text color as it is being "washed out" against the blue backdrop.
Is this your real name? Very unusual if it is. I admire your inspirational writing. It must be a pah of success for you. I noted you said you were clean and sober for 14 months. How current is this because your remarks when you signe don were back in 2017?
Is this a repeat post? If so, how are you faring today?
I liked these words in particular:
"To above all,
share Our Father's Love,
we all are freely given,
should be at,
the very forefront,
of every Christian's Mission!"
Good luck with everything, Fonda. :) Bob

Hmm, a very thought provoking work. I t really does give the reader a moment to pause and to reflect on their own actions. A written piece with a good rhymes, and a message for all. Good job.

This is a poem of conviction, of faith, of a willingness to set aside scorn and hate and realize Jesus died for all of us. Well written and the rhyme is well done tool.

Discord is something God hates, So we speak of hate and Jesus teaches we should love our enemy. I have been a life time understanding that. Your poem reaches into the minds of people. I hope we all can learn to dismiss it from our hearts.
Thanks for sharing.

The curse of hate has been around since Cain slew Abel in a jealous hating rage. What a wonderfully written poem full of meaning.
Good luck in the contest!
Have a great day and God bless.

Thank you for reminding us of the great sacrifice God made in letting his Son die for us. And for the fine example Jesus set in being willing to die for us. Two things is all God asks of us in return - to love God and to love our neighbor. Can we please see some of that love instead of hate???
