I guess patience is a good thing to have. Many times I have lost my patience also but being in a hurry can only make things worse sometimes. Not a time saver that's for sure.

You are right about that. I lost patience more when I was ;younger. With this virus thing that looks as though it might go on much longer, I might as well relax and see what happens.

Wow, Beth, I really liked this part, and you relay your anger and irritation so very well. I know it's no laughing matter, but I couldn't help laughing when you totalled your car. Thank goodness nobody came to any harm.
As as rule, I'm a very laid-back= As a rule, I'm ...
I loved this. All best. Ulla:)))

Thank you so much for the review and comments. We've laughed a lot about my temper tantrum over the years. It wasn't runny then.

I can understand the children not trusting you at the wheel anymore. You were very lucky no one was hurt both times.
You tell an interesting story about your life, Beth. I am enjoying it very much. Nancy:)

Thank you Nancy, I really appreciate the review and comments. I was lucky but now I don't feel very safe when they are driving. I think that was the last accident I ever had.

It sounds like there were a lot of growing pains, in the beginning, adjusting to everything. I think I would've been very mad too. Waiting so long and then being told to go on. Your chapter is very well-written, interesting start to finish. I like the details you added this time.

Thank you so much for the review and comments. For a while we started taking two vehicles and he didn't hold me up any more.

Beth, well, you settled in your new home and started your new job. I wonder, do you still live there? Sorry, I see now, you live in Tennessee.
The job went well, you had more relaxing work and earned more than before. A change for the better!
The accidents were not so positive. Oh, wow, the exploiting tire could have finished a lot worse!
So your husband started shepherd-breeding? He also did a whole bunch of different things!

Some of my husband's ideas worked out well and some did not. The changes will continue. Thank you for the review and the comments. I appreciate you continuing to read my story.

Boy, the adjustments you all had to make were a bit harrowing at times. Juggling all the morning stops must have been frustrating to say the least. This is another great and interesting post.

Thank you Rebecca, for the comments and review. i guess you do what you need to do at the time and sort of take in stride. I don't remember stressing over anything except punching in late on the time clock.

If punching in late on the time clock was your only worry, then you are a really calm person!

How scary ! First, I was thinking of the scare that poor little Carol had while fishing. And then the car accident with the pine tree. Your poor kids! I found it interesting that you were the time-conscious one and your husband was the one that took his time getting ready! It's usually the lady that takes time getting ready. Lol.

Thank you for the review and comments Carol was in no danger because the water wasn't deep there but she was hard to recognize for all the mud. The kids were pretty traumatized over my diving. My husband did stop making me late for work. We tood separate cars for a while.

MY goodness--two dogs-- as if you didn't have enough on your plate. But breeding could bring in good money. Easy for me to see why you lost your temper and totaled the car. I hope your husband didn't hold you up anymore after that.

You already know how much I enjoy reading these memories. You are doing a great job writing them. I do understand how these car issues can really cause stress. I still drive almost 45 minutes to work one way. Thank you for sharing.
