It was labeled "human". Perfect placement of this very important clue to understanding this bit of mystery writing. You are so clever! Love the name scramble as well.

Margaret, thank you so much! A 6-star is always something to smile about, but twice so when it comes from you. I'm blown away and honored. I'm glad you enjoyed! The 'name scramble' had me worried. Too much left off or out and no one would connect it, even with author notes. Tooo much left in and it would let the cat out of the bag ? or the bug out of the box ? too soon :)
    Thank you again. Blessings,
    Deb

I"m blown away that you gave me the six stars, Dana! And I need to go read that post ? I got it up at almost 2 AM and am actually not sure how I ended it! Shhhh ? don't tell! lol. I was going to put what virus each name came from and was so wiped out that I forgot what webpage I got them from. lol.
HOe your day is grand -- only 8 more school days and Y'all are done! (Just to make you COMPLETELY jealous -- we ended on May 26 ? just sayin' ? I was SO glad when that was done!)
    Talk later,

This is really different, and very good, everything is looking through the eight eyes of another species, that could well be me. I loved it, great and strange protagonists, and a strange slightly angry antagonist, in the the saddle, or rather in the house. This is an excellent post Debora, while done, blessings, Roy
Typo : And the (best) stood, roaring its fury. Beast?

This reminded me of those cheesy Japanese monster films of the fifties and sixties--Godzilla, Rodan--but in a camp kind of way. I didn't catch on to the names, they just seemed foreign to me. Very witty, and creative. Best of luck at the polls.

Peace, Lee

Thank you! I appreciate those kind words. I thought it was kind of B-movie-ish, too. I enjoyed writing it and am glad you got a kick out of it.
