Hello Y. M. Roger,
In the light of Bracketed words above the Title and the Author Note, It's a nice piece of Song Lyrics Poetry meeting the desired norms, having impressive as well as matching the theme phraseology, enchanting flow throughout from the beginning to the end, and beautifully depicting its theme.
Picture enhances depth and beauty of the poem.
Laudable Attempt!
[Undoubtedly, it deserves to be honored with 5+1 Sparkling Star,but...]

I really enjoyed the poem or song as it is. I kept trying to figure out a tune to go with it, but nothing seemed to work. It sounds fast and bouncy!

Your song in a poem reads well, YM. I really like your formatting of lines, the image, and color scheme. Your lines are easy to follow and understand. They are filled with great imagery of one with a broken heart and the other?? Well, that's for another song. Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Aw, I guess romance matures and goes through its dry spells. Painful and maybe a broken heart CAN kill ya. This is a nicely illustrated piece. Song writing takes a special talent which I don't have, but I enjoyed yours. Marilyn

Hello Y.M. Roger,
This is a sad story of lost of trust and love. You are right, you won't die from a broken heart, but you can feel the pain of hurt for a long time. You used a beautiful photo to reflect your message. I can hear these words in a song sharing a broken heart misery. This was a easy read. I like you rhyming of your words. Nicely done. Happy writing:-)

Fantastic! I do hope that you have some connections in Nashville or know an agent. I think that this song could go far. Hope you remember your FS friends when you are rich and famous - Jerry

Dear Yvette,
I was 12 when my heart was first broken. It was a holding hand, riding bikes kind of relationship, but I was crushed when he broke up with me mid summer. I was totally crushed. I feel sorry for teens who go through love at such a tender age, because sometimes they look for the wrong way out. It is that serious to them. My mom tried to joke me out of my relationship grief, and it did not help.
Your poem brought back a little of the feeling of heartbreak I experienced throughout my life. Beautiful and symbolic drawing. Excellent work.
Best wishes,
Cindy

This is wonderful! I can just about hear it being sung. I especially like the part about a broken heart giving you another point of view and knowing dreams just don't come true. the picture is perfect and most symbolic.

Wow. Can hear it being sung. Feeling full range of emotions reading this song! Expect Yvette to win at the CMA's next year! I spent quite a bit of time inspecting the art work. It has a lot to say. The shape of the moon into a heart. The heart in it's night time. The black out line of trees. The blackness of the growing things. Looks like a white origami bird. That's interesting. Maybe the symbol of peace that is hanging around waiting to find a place to land. Love the coloring of black with turquoise text.
Thank you for the pleasure of experiencing this song with you.
Well done!

A country song? Folk? I like this "breakup" song and most can relate to these words. "There are no words, my vision's blurred, from the tears I've cried for you". Love that! Whole second stanza is lovely (no cheating? - well then, it isn't country. Must be folk. ha ha)
