We have very few photos from that era, of mum and dad, the best one is a family portrait from the fifties, artificially coloured, and some of my dad, who looked a lot like Errol Flynn, in those days, my mum was a fiery 4'10" redhead, I had the same red hair. (Not so red now) beautifully written dear friend, I loved this story, blessings Roy
