It is always good to see so many generations together. It is weird that the two young boys are the only two not dressed up and not wearing shoes.

This is a poem that allows us all to bring our memories of family gatherings through your memories and the photograph of your family. I am going to get out the family album and see if I can conjure up some memories of my parents and their parents having a beautiful summer day sometime in the great past. I can't possibly choose a favorite poem. Too many to choose from, dear poetress. However, this is at the top and captured my last six for the week. Pathetic for a Monday, I know. This has an endearing quality to it, in the simple, sweet presentation, vintage photo, and construction of the poem. I love it. :))

Thank you! What a wonderful review! My mom wore saddle shoes. When I was 9, I thought they were so cool and my grandma took me shopping and got me a rare (back then) pair of tan/brown saddle shoes and boy, was I in heaven!! Haha! Appreciate you enjoyed!! xoxo
