Hello Sandra,
It's always sad to see a great story end, but what a smashingly good ending it is.
'Fold' is one of my favorite words and themes. I've written several poems about folds, twists, loops, wrinkles, and other curiosities of space and time. I love how you incorporated the idea into the solution to the problem in your story. What a wonderful way to spark the imagination of your young readers.

I love the interplay between Drozig and Eric, almost like father and son, and the inquisitive, impatient mind of Eric.
Excellent lesson on the importance of making sure things are safe before going ahead with a plan. Drozig is like a full-size Yoda.

"You are the only Earthling who has travelled to another planet, and no Earthling will ever get to go into the fold and see another galaxy."
To bad. I was going to write a story about a strange visitor who knocks on Sandra Mitchell's door and offers to take her and Graham on the vacation of a life time - to the fold. :))

Well done. One of your best stories!
Best wishes to you and Graham.
Robert

You can still come!!!!! I won't tell anyone that I got to go to the fold as well!!! LOL. Thank you so very much, you wonderful man, for this amazing review and the golden stars! This is the longest story, and it could have gone on, but I didn't want youngsters getting bored. But I do happen to have another exciting idea forming in my head, but it will have to simmer for a while. You've given me such wonderful support throughout the books and I can't thank you enough! Now, when should I pencil in a holiday gap in my diary?? Sending you a hug! :)) Sandra xxx

Hello Sandramitchell,
Remarkable piece of General Fiction in continuation having captivating flow throughout from the beginning to the end, pleasant journey on a starship, and safe landing on a worth living new planet - The End, but Memorable End, and in the words of Shakespeare, "All's well that ends well."
High flight of Imagination, lucid as well as perfectly matching the theme wording, and spontaneous flow - in all respects, LAUDABLE!

A smashing final episode, Sandra, and a most satisfying ending that paves the way to a new adventure. Beautifully done. You have built the suspense well. This line was a standout for me: "a feeling of dread carved a jagged path through his mind". I shall be looking forward to the next adventure. Keep them coming!

I'm so pleased you liked that line, lol, I thought it was rather good, too! LOL. (Modest to the end!!) Thank you so much for the six, and the lovely review, my friend, you've offered your wonderful support all through the books, and I can't thank you enough. More coming later, but I have the Egyptian book and this one to sort out first. My ABC book will continue, though. Thanks again, my dear friend. :)) Sandra xxx

This was an excellent ending chapter! I liked how the ending really left it open for a further addition. Your techniques fit in very well with the space theme, such as the spaceships moving very fast from planet to planet. I had grown to adore the characters, and I hope to see them again soon!!

Thank you so very much for the 6 stars, Chloe, and this fabulous review. There is most certainly going to be more adventures, but first I have to sort the this one and the Egyptian adventure out and get them published. I'm so over the moon delighted that you have enjoyed reading this story and like the characters. Thanks, my friend. Stay safe and well! :)) Sandra xxx

I love happy endings. lol I will missing reading about Eric and Herbie.

Just a few small points. You might prefer to ignore some.

"It's exciting isn't it? - comma needed after 'exciting'

"It won't be long now, Eric," Drozig said as he came and stood by him and Herbie. - comma needed after 'said'

"No. We will make sure it is the right planet for them, that all the information we've had from the drone-searchers covers all the Aqua-beings, and the Mermens' needs. We don't want to return sometime in the future and find something went wrong." - I think there needs to be an apostrophe after 'Aqua-beings'

Kon and his fellow leaders, stared in awe at what they hoped would soon be their new home. - delete comma

Kon was overcome with emotion that he had to turn away for a moment - did you mean 'Kon was so overcome with emotion'?

I know it looks the same, we just need to make sure." - replace comma with a period

Stay safe
Judy

Very cool. This is a scifi story, which I hadn't expected from you.
Virtual screening is a very current item these days for sure. Good use of dialog to convey the story.
An intriguing concept, the fold. Something like a cross betweena wormhole and a star gate.
An interesting story about transporting some aqua-people to a new home planet. I enjoyed it.

Hello, Tom, thank you so much for reading my final part. This is the 4th sci-fi adventure story I've written for my grandson, Eric, and there might be more later in the year. It's to encourage him with mastering his dyslexia. Now he is in a special needs school for dyslexic children he is coming on really well. The school has copies of the books, which is nice. (it makes Eric feel special, too) I'm delighted you enjoyed reading it. Thanks, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

A very happy ending indeed and you left the door open for another adventure sometime in the future. I liked how Eric took the safety measures - he "didn't need telling twice!" :))
One suggestion:
I found like I wanted to know how Kon tested the soil and the water. How did it feel like, smell, taste like?
Great job with this book and I'm sure your grandson will be thrilled!

Hello Helen. Thank you so much for your great review and constant support of this story. I like your suggestion and will do some research on 'strange water and soil' so that it works with being in a different galaxy. I think that would add to the story, so thank you big time for that. Have a wonderful day, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx
