Interesting insight on the process of beginning writing. Looks like some of us really like to tap into ocean imagery to get going. I like your little post here. I caught quite a lot of 'en' rhymes: ocean, oxygen, inspiration, expression. Nice share.

I like your word choices in this. "Oxygen of inspiration" has a lovely sound. Your Tanka form is excellent, too. The syllable count is right on, and you have one lovely flowing sentence. So true. You have to let your thoughts come freely, wherever you are. Best of luck in the contest. judi

We are all in the same situation, so am not whining, but this little poem is very upbeat, relaxing and inspirational-motivational. Great job.
