This was absolutely amazing, Sandra. You definitely provided all the details of each step. And each step was followed correctly by the next one. I loved the picture, Eric will indeed be proud. Whew it was a relief that Herbie was not going to be scraped and that Drozig was simply thinking that it would be interesting to have the scientists learn from him. It was great that everyone was being helpful to others (something that is missing in our world). Big hugs and smiles, be safe, be well. Oh I think in the last full paragraph you missed the 'i' in Drozig. Great job.

Eric is going to love this one, Sandra! Outer space is what the kids are interested in now it seems. What a great picture. How did you learn to do that? I didn't do it, my friend did it for me. I just had Chris take a photo of Eric and send it to me and my friend magically put him in that 'suit' and put him on the bridge of a picture I managed to find on Pixabay. Clever, isn't he!! lol. I think Eric will be more than pleased when he sees it. Thank you so much for the six stars, my dear friend, and the lovely review. Eric never wants to see the story until I've finished and published it. I do get him to choose the book cover picture my friend does for me, though. He has a choice of three. This is like Andy Hardy meets Star Trek. When I was young,
it was Flash Gordon, then came Star Wars, and Star Trek,
now it's one of the Epic Adventures of Eric.
(love the Epic/Eric in the title, with the 'p' moving up one letter to 'r')
It's good to see that there is humor in other places of the universe.
God must have a great sense of humor, after all, he created you and me. :)
Great interplay with Drozig, Eric and Herbie and lots of sections to make kids laugh, like having the body parts switch places when reassembled, and eating all that chocolate and ice cream.
"Drozig sat watching the open shield and pointed to Eric where the aqua-beings would be when it arrived."
Perhaps:
Drozig sat watching the open shield and pointed [out] to Eric where the aqua-being['s ship] would be when it arrived. (or pointed to where)
Another exciting chapter.

Thank you so much, Shirley for your lovely review, and virtual six. I laughed my socks off when I saw what you'd written and gave me a five, I did exactly the same thing last week!! We had a good laugh about it. It was better than the time I did think I'd given a 5 and the darned thing jumped to a 3! Talk about embarrassed, but another good laugh once I'd put it right. These stars do their own thing most of the time! Yes, I'll be publishing it, I hope to have it done in time to give a copy to my grandson for his Birthday at the end of October. I am not sure I would want to live in a society where everyone could read my thoughts, even if I able to read those of others. I suppose the trick is to think about something innocuous like chocolate!

Since I'm a trekkie, I had no trouble imagining Eric being beamed up to the ship. And also, Galaxy Quest has a scene where some ooze covers the travelers into a tight-fitting space traveling pod. So that was easy to imagine. Looking forward to his next adventure on this new trip.

Since I'm a trekkie, I had no trouble imagining Eric being beamed up to the ship. And also, Galaxy Quest has a scene where some ooze covers the travelers into a tight-fitting space traveling pod. So that was easy to imagine. Looking forward to his next adventure on this new trip.

I'm a trekkie too, and I really wish I could travel the universe. How wonderful that would be! If you're a trekkie, you HAVE to watch Galaxy Quest - it's absolutely hysterical as it spoofs all of the old Star Trek idiosyncrasies. It came out in 1999.

Almost straight away, metal-like straps came out of the armrests, and from the back of the seat and locked him in - comma after 'seat'
